Stained glass specialists in Alfreton, Derbyshire.Established in 1999 and formerly known as Harlequin Stained Glass we are specialists in handmade traditional, contemporary stained glass commissions, in addition to this we offer etched glass in standard and bespoke designs. We also provide a repair and restoration service which will meet all your requirements from repairing a small break in a panel, a complete refurbishment of original stained glass panels or making panels to match ones that may have been lost or damaged over the years. We can alter (reduce/enlarge) stained glass panels that may need to be relocated, and also make them suitable for encapsulation into double glazed units.
In 2012 we rebranded our business to Harlequin Glassworks to encompass other services that we now offer which are lead overlay, glass splashbacks, windows and doors made in timber or timber alternative, encapsulation, double glazing, glass cut to size, mirrors, photographs on glass, glass wall art and a small gallery area selling gifts and pictures made by ourselves and other artists which are all made in Great Britain. We are also proud members of the Derbyshire Trusted Trader scheme which gives potential customers the reassurance that they are working with a professional business with very high standards in quality and service.
The WorkshopYou can visit our workshop and gallery in Alfreton DE55 7BY which is situated near the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales in the heart of England. We are only five minutes from Junction 28 of the M1 and less than 30 minutes drive from Derby, Nottingham, Chesterfield, Mansfield and Matlock. Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands area are our main customer base but we do offer our services nationwide. Free customer parking is available.
